So firstly, what are some of those essential oils that are considered manly?
Nutmeg – rich, spicy, sweet and woody.
Oakmoss – rich, earthy and woody.
Orange – sweet, lively, citrus.
Patchouli – heavy, earthy, musty
Peppermint – minty fresh and slightly camphor like.
Petitgrain – fresh, sweet, subtle woody undertones.
Pine – fresh, pungent smell.
Rosemary – herbaceous, woody, sharp and camphor like.
Sandalwood – soft, warm, woody and balsamic.
Spearmint – minty, slightly fruity.
Here are two recipes that caught my eye that I need to try.
When making your own it is important to note the base Notes, Middle notes and top notes where you start with the base and work your way up to the top notes adding it to jojoba oil or fractionated coconut oil in a little glass bottle.
