LIBRARY HELPED ME PASS MY MATRIC

Published on

A local matriculant says the reason for his outstanding 2019 final exam marks, is due to the frequent use of his local library. The Executive Mayor Dan Plato, and Mayco Member for Community Services and Health, Zahid Badroodien, recently visited Leonsdale Library in Elsies River, where they engaged with Nathan Strydom, a dedicated matriculant who made use of this city facility to obtain a matric pass. 17 year old Strydom of Elsies River, visited the Leonsdale Library in his community, to prepare for his final exams.

The Leonsdale Library has been open for more than 36 years and offers SmartCape, WiFi, audio and video resources, study material, books and so much more to its patrons.

Strydom, who does not have a cellphone or internet connection at home, says, “I used the library’s resources to the fullest of my ability not only prepping for the final exams, but for the entire year.”
