Lavona Solomons, who was sentenced to 10 years in prison for kidnapping Zephany Nurse will have to stay behind bars for a while longer, despite applying for parole.

Solomons was arrested after an incredible coincidence where then-schoolgirl Cassidy Nurse was astounded by Miché’s likeness to her and her family. Last week, Lavona applied for parole, but Correctional Services spokesperson Singabakho Nxumalo says she was not successful.
