SA National Parks Week

National Parks Week is a very popular week, held annually. Since its inception in 2006, participating parks have seen an influx of day visitors.

SANParks says the week helps to cultivate a sense of pride in South Africa’s natural, cultural and historical heritage as protected and preserved by the national parks system. It has also proven to be a successful campaign that provides education and awareness about the country’s inclusive approach to conservation.
