The Minister of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development Thoko Didiza, says all beneficiaries who in future, receive land through Government’s land-re-distribution programme, will have to under-go compulsory training.
Didiza says the training will help beneficiaries better manage and develop their respective farms.
The Minister yesterday gave details on government’s plans to release available state land. She says Government will, as part of this initiative, distribute than 2-million hectares of land to qualifying South Africans.
All beneficiaries who have been allocated State land and signed lease agreements will be subjected to a compulsory training programme.
