A woman has been rescued after falling roughly 10 metres down the Grotto-Fountain-Cairn Traverse within the boundary of the Table Mountain National Park.

The woman is recovering well in a hospital after some emergency operations. She will require further surgery after the superficial swelling of some of her injuries have subsided.
