Consumer watchdog, the National Consumer Commission (NCC) has issued a recall of the 50ml single-use neutralizing shampoo contained in Dark and Lovely Moisture Plus Kits (Regular, and Super) and Dark and Lovely Anti Breakage Kit.
According to the manufacturer – L’Oréal – using this shampoo may lead to scalp infections in those with compromised immune systems. Loreal informed the NCC that it detected the presence of bacteria in the shampoo during their regular quality controls.
Those in possession of the products have been urged to immediately discontinue use and return it to the store they bought it from for a full refund.
