The National Institute of Communicable Diseases has saluted the collective efforts of ALL healthcare workers in the country and has thanked them for their ongoing commitment and dedication.

This as the country has marked the second anniversary of the first positive #covid19 case identified in South Africa, in 2020. The NICD says it also remembers those who have lost their lives, during the pandemic.
