The National Institute of Communicable Diseases has recorded more than 11,125 new cases of the coronavirus yesterday. The positivity rate has increased from 22.4% on Friday, to 23.8%. The chairperson of the South African Medical Association, Dr Angelique Coetzee says although the country is indeed in the fourth wave, there’s no reason to panic, over the weekend’s figures.
