Wesgro says 2 international airlines have recently resumed routes to the Mother City, which has resulted in an increase in international passengers to Cape Town, last month.

Wesgro says it’s continually in contact with their Air Access partners, to lure them back. At this stage, British Airways is also due to resume flights to Cape Town, in November. The acting chief executive at Wesgro, Yaw Peprah says they hope this will ignite international tourism to the city.
